Haringey Borough earned a vital 1-0 home win over fellow strugglers Heybridge Swifts in Ryman Division One North on Saturday.
The hosts grabbed the winning goal just before the hour mark when a through ball from Daniel Aristidou enabled Anthony McDonald to cross for Jerome Martelli to head home.
The victory sends Boro above the relegation zone for the first time since last month.
Haringey face a difficult trip to third-placed AFC Hornchurch on Saturday.
