A day out at a Tottenham Hotspur match is no longer the fifth-most expensive in the Premier League, though their most expensive season ticket remains the second-highest in the division - according to the BBC Price of Football study.

Spurs’ most expensive season ticket costs £1,895 – second only to north London rivals Arsenal (£2,013). The club’s cheapest season ticket costs £765 and again puts them second to Arsenal (£1,014) and above the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City.

An adult matchday ticket for a Tottenham game is the third most costly in the Premier League – behind Arsenal (£97) and Chelsea (£87).

However, a day out at a Tottenham match is no longer the fifth-most expensive in the Premier League after moving down four places.

A cost of £41.00 for a day out at White Hart Lane has been calculated based on the cheapest single adult ticket (£32), a programme (£3.50), a pie (£3.50) and a cup of tea (£2.00).

The cost of a day out at Tottenham is the same as last year and £3.56 above the average price of a day out at a Premier League match (£37.44).

Manchester City boast the top-flight’s cheapest adult season ticket (£299), whilst the cheapest matchday ticket can be found at Newcastle United (£15). Arsenal sell the most expensive matchday ticket.

An adult replica shirt at Manchester City will set you back £55 – the most expensive in the top flight. Hull City’s replica shirts are priced at £39.99, making them the division’s cheapest.

A day out at West Ham United is now the fourth-cheapest in the Premier League, after last season being the second-most expensive.

Calculated on the price of the cheapest adult matchday ticket (£20), programme (£3.50), pie (£3.30) and a cup of tea (£2.20), a day at a West Ham match will cost £29, only behind Newcastle United (£23.30), Hull City (£24.00) and Leicester City (£27.50) for value.

The Hammers have the fourth-most expensive season ticket in the Premier League though, priced at £940 and only behind Arsenal (£2,013), Tottenham Hotspur (£1,895), Chelsea (£1,1250) and Queens Park Rangers (£949).

For the cheapest season ticket at Upton Park, you can expect to pay £620 – which is also the fifth steepest in the top-flight, behind Arsenal (£1,014), Tottenham Hotspur (£765), Chelsea (£750) and Liverpool (£710).

The most expensive matchday ticket for a game at Upton Park is priced at £75 – the fourth-highest in the division. Only Arsenal (£97), Chelsea (£87) and Tottenham Hotspur (£81) are more expensive.

An adult West Ham shirt can be purchased for £49.99 - £10 more than Hull City (£39.99) who are the cheapest.
