Elderly woman escapes Wood Green house fire
An elderly woman had to make a quick getaway after a blaze engulfed her home.
The whole of the first floor and half of the roof was damaged by the blaze on Granville Road, in Wood Green.
She was taken to hospital as a precaution whilst four fire engines and 21 firefighters battled the fire between 3.17pm and 4.36pm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
