Community group to host Nepal earthquake fundraiser
A community group has invited hundreds of people to an event raising money for the victims of the Nepal earthquake.
The Council of Asian People, based in Haringey, will welcome newly elected MP for Hornsey & Wood Green Catherine West along with councillors and members of the community.
There will be a Nepalese band as well as food and drink for those who attend the fundraiser to be held in Caxton Road, Wood Green.
The event, which takes place at 6pm this Saturday, is aimed at helping to raise money for victims of the earthquake in Nepal which has so far killed more than 7,000 people.
