A minister from the Department of Health came to Haringey to discuss healthcare policy.
Norman Lamb MP came to Greig City Academy and spoke to more than 50 members of the community about set waiting times for mental health patients, spending on children’s mental health services and the cap on social care costs for the elderly.
The Minister for Care and Support then took questions from the audience and addressed concerns about private providers and NHS funding.
MP for Hornsey & Wood Green Lynne Featherstone said: “It was great to have Norman here to talk about the work he’s doing on integrated care, mental health, social care and more.
“I hope residents enjoyed the opportunity to ask him questions directly.”
