  • Tiff Stevenson and Jack Barry

Tottenham Independent: Tiff Stevenson headlines on April 5

Tiff has appeared on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, The Office and Balls of Steel and was a finalist on ITV1’s Show Me the Funny. Jack Barry is probably the only stand-up on the circuit with a degree in Chinese. He has been a regular at the Edinburgh Festival and was part of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve in 2013, as well as performing on the Free Fringe as one half of sketch duo, Twins.

  • The Norm of Greatness

Tottenham Independent: Martin Luther King Jr

There is much more to Dr Martin Luther King, who came to personify the modern American Civil Rights Movement, than the famous speech containing the words ‘I Have A Dream’. Darryl Van Leer delivers extracts from this and other speeches and writings to show us how an unknown young preacher was propelled onto the world stage and compelled to deliver words that he knew would spell out his own death sentence.
